Trauma Activation Fee Calculator

Is your Trauma Center optimizing its revenue? Let’s see

Welcome to the original Trauma Activation Fee Calculator, a service of Trauma Ready Consulting. The Trauma Activation Fee is a Uniform Billing 04 code (68x) that provides a facility fee to accredited trauma centers, in order to offset the cost of providing Trauma services.

It is up to each facility to provide a detailed calculation to justify the specific charge and submit it to the payer

1. The first step is to gather data. Print this document and use it as a guide to collect information.

2. Plug those numbers into into the calculator.

3. You will receive a PDF report explaining what your trauma activation fee should be.

4. Once you know how much you could be submitting, you’ll need to create a strategy for submitting the charges.
